Made entirely with ChatGPT-4o, not MidJourney.
At Boneyard Collective, we’re always experimenting with ways to bring branding to life. Lately, we’ve been exploring a new question:
What happens when you treat a logo like a material object?
Using GPT-4o’s image generation (yes, right here inside ChatGPT), we transformed our entire logo library into 21 completely different materials. These weren’t stylized filters or cheesy mockups—these were hyper-detailed, fully 3D, AI-generated textures that look like you could reach out and touch them.
Bubblegum. Lava. Cork. Leather. Ice. Glitchy circuitry. Every version tells a different story—and all of them are still unmistakably Boneyard.
Why We Did This
We wanted to see what happens when your branding isn’t static. When your identity can shift and breathe without losing its soul. There’s no reason your logo can’t wear 21 different outfits and still feel cohesive.
This experiment helped us:
Build an aesthetic playground for our brand
Show clients how far you can push a visual system
Have fun with texture, form, and personality
Use AI for real, useful creative work—not just novelty
The Process
We used GPT-4o's image generation to render each logo using a mix of prompt engineering and reference images. Sometimes we described materials from memory (e.g. "sticky pink bubblegum with stringy texture"). Other times, we uploaded image references (like the Oculus Quest 3 headset) and asked the system to match its surface properties.
Always use a real Boneyard logo from our set (not a made-up font)
Never alter the logo's shape or spelling
Keep everything ultra-realistic and 3D
Match each material to a mood, metaphor, or visual story
Render in 4K with transparent or dark backgrounds
We rotated through different Boneyard logo variants to keep the visuals diverse but still on-brand.
The Prompts: Make Your Own
⚠️ Note: These were all done using ChatGPT-4o’s image generation—no MidJourney, no Photoshop. Just careful prompt engineering and a weird sense of texture.

Final Thoughts
AI didn’t make this on its own. It was a collaboration between our creative vision and a system smart enough to follow it.
This wasn’t about randomly generating pretty textures. It was about giving our brand a living, breathing identity—one that could shift depending on mood, season, platform, or audience.
We treat AI like a design partner. Not a crutch. Not a gimmick. Just another tool in our toolbox.
What Boneyard Collective Does
